The English language is becoming the first language in the world. It is highly needed in all daily exchange of ideas between people and in enterprises. I will present both the advantages and the disadvantages of this view.  

One disadvantage to adopt English is that people in my country speak more French and Arabic so they are not adapted to learn a new language in their workplace. Therefore, we find it difficult to present them our work in English. 

However, the advantages of English language are multiple. The first reason that makes English a must for everyone to learn is that all scientific research is in English. Therefore, people need to take the initiative to adapt to the latest advancements in English to advance in their projects. 

In addition, all international trading and partnerships are done in English contracts so people are obliged to speak in English to improve their international economy and tourism in their country. 

Moreover, the other reason to learn English is that we need to extend our networking and make more relations to achieve better outcomes in our projects and we need English to participate in international conferences and seminars. For example, during my last conference in England I had to present my thesis about quality of service provisioning in English and the jury was made of international professors who appreciated a lot my work. 

In conclusion, there are more advantages than disadvantages to learn English and I highly recommend to learn it from a young age to be able to master all its skills and to speak it fluently.
